Hey ya gang! How'd it go today? I can't believe I've made it three whole days and haven't caved. I am PUMPED! I've been drinking those Crystal Light Peach Tea packets in my water. It is supposed to have a little caffiene in it. I don't know if that's keeping me hopping or the change in what I'm eating. Right away Monday, I noticed I wasn't in a cloud of "funk" anymore. I haven't been draggin' through the day, watching the clock for go home time at work. I am not a person to eat or drink anything with peach flavor, but those darn things taste so good and it quenches my thirst whereas plain water just don't cut it.
Today I had two soft eggs at breakfast and one turkey sausage pattie. Lunch was a 2 cup salad with the reduced fat 3 cheese ranch dressing, jello with the fat free whipped topping, and 2 strips of bacon. Supper tonight was tenderloin and green beans with ICBINB and a little onion seasoning. Of course all three snacks were the part skim mozzarella string cheese. Every 3 hours again today, almost to the minute. I haven't been hungry at all today either.
Tonight I made spinach veggie quiches from a recipe in the South Beach book. It had egg beaters, onions, green peppers, r.f. cheese and spinach. It said they could be frozen and reheated well in the microwave. So now for the next few days, I'll have one of those at breakfast or lunch. I like hot things in the morning or at lunch to eat. I took a small bite out of one and ooh la la baby! I think I'll tweek it a bit the next time and add some dill seasoning or even use my crumbled turkey bacon in it. Yummy for a "diet" recipe.
Ok, I'll post again in the morning how the weight is flucuating. I know you're not supposed to weigh every day, but 1. I can't help it and 2. I'm so anxious to see if this is working or not and 3. I figure as long as there's no plus on the scale, I'm good to go!
